Kensie Layne is honestly one of my most favorite people on this earth. She also makes the cutest babies which I get the honor of photographing – you will never hear me complain about that.

When she gave birth to this beauty, I wanted to take some time to take care of her and her sweet family. Since I was still nursing, we would have “pumping parties” every few hours, I would get to snuggle this sweet not even week old baby girl, watch Paw Patrol with Saw-Saw (my little godson) and help with whatever needed to be done – whether that was forcing Kensie to drink water or doing dishes. Hehe!

While there, I wanted to make sure we had some time to get some snuggly newborn shots of Emma like we did Sawyer for Kensie to hold on to. These are a few of my favorite. Unfortunately the weather was a little wonky so we weren’t able to get a family portrait but that just gives me another excuse to make my way up there soon! Right?
