Growing up I always saw my dad and Papa with their cameras taking pictures of our family. It wasn't until I was married to my hubby, Jerry, who had only a shoebox of pictures from his childhood how important it was to document not only our families adventures but others as well.
I was gifted my first camera when I was 8 years old by my mom and dad and haven't stopped taking pictures since.
Capturing Bliss started as a economics project my senior year of high school and hasn't stopped growing. Each year I take another course to get better technically and update my customer experience by adding new ways of communicating and loving on my clients. We are always looking for ways to love and cherish our clients, whether you are a family who hasn't ever gotten family pictures done or a couple in love about to tie the knot.
I have realized taking pictures isn't enough. My desire is to connect with a family, know what makes their kids laugh and capture those precious moments in your life right now.
I don't want to be a one-time photographer in your life. I want to be there for every season: Engagement to Wedding day. Pregnant with your first baby (or sixth). Be at either the birth of your child or photograph your growing family in those first few weeks. I love seeing your kids grow up with each special personality that shows up throughout the years.
Even though I have been photographing people's lives and events over the last 12 years, it wasn't until I had my own children (I have 2) that it became ever more important to me to capture your bliss in every season. I can't wait to get to know you and your family and be your photographer for a lifetime!
