Everything about Anna and Justin’s wedding was so well thought through and executed beautifully. Holly Lynch of The Season Events (wedding coordinator) walked along side us throughout the day making sure everyone was on time, everything came together and made sure Anna and Justin’s day went off without a hitch.
Anna and Justin got ready at the Hawthorne Suites by Wyndham Rome. Anna and her bridesmaids had their hair and make up done by the Salon inside the hotel and they were on time and did an amazing job on all the ladies.
We then proceeded to go to the Frost Chapel at Berry College where Anna would put on her wedding dress at the same chapel her mom and dad also got married at. Despite the rainy day, Anna would not let that dampen her easy going attitude of “it’s ok” and a smile on her face allowing every minute to sink in. Her mom and maid of honor, Alice, helped her get into her gown as her bridesmaids watched in awe of this beautiful bride getting one step closer to walking down the aisle of a beautiful church to the man of her dreams.
Anna wanted to do a first look with her dad and it was the sweetest moment of him seeing his beautiful daughter in her wedding gown. *Cue the tears* She had a sweet homemade gift for him of a picture of her as a little girl and had stitched on it “I loved you first. 2-10-18”.
Justin arrived on the scene and he allowed us to take a ton of amazing shots of him inside and outside the chapel. His momma was so proud and looked absolutely stunning in that blue lace dress.
With the dark wood and stone walls, this chapel made the perfect backdrop for an intimate ceremony. A unity candle lite by both sets of parents (who by the way are still going strong in their marriages). The aisle was decorated so lovely by Anna’s mom, great Aunt and Grandmother. A one year old nephew ring bearer, proud father and sweet vows made this ceremony ever so enjoyable to document. As they exited by bagpipe, the sounds filled the room with such sweet notes. They were #finallyfrierson!
The reception was held at Forrest Place in downtown Rome, Georgia. This 1915 venue was large, beautiful and had an old world elegance about it. The cake topper was hand carved by Anna’s grandfather and is by far the best wedding present/cake topper I have ever seen. Their guestbook was instant photos of the guests at the reception which was super cute. To top off the everything, Anna’s Uncle wrote and sang their first dance song which was completely perfect in every way.
A send off with sparklers in the rain!
