Who knew we would have 60/70 degree weather in February in Georgia?!?!? Definitely not me. However, we did for Alice and Yates’ Engagement Session which couldn’t have been a better day to document their love!
In June, I will get the honor to document their wedding day in Greenville, SC and I can not wait! These two love to dance, to laugh and their love is simply contagious! When we were thinking about doing an Engagement Session, I suggested that since they would be in town (they live in Louisiana) for a wedding we would do it right before the rehearsal. The wedding was going to take place at Frost Chapel at Berry College in Rome, Georgia and I had hear wonderful things about this campus so I asked Alice if she’d be up for it and she said “YES!” Alice is one of the CBP Bride, Anna’s, maid of honor who also referred me to Alice to be her photographer.
I knew I needed to do my research to find the perfect locations/spots and I’m so glad for the photography community to suggest locations. These were perfect and their outfits were even spot on as well! Check out these precious images from Alice + Yates’ Engagement Session. Isn’t her smile/laugh contagious?!?!
As a photographer, you don’t always get to spend a ton of time face-to-face with out of town bride’s so this weekend was special for me as well. Not only did I get to photograph Alice’s Engagement, Anna’s Wedding, but I also got to work with Alice as a MOH and another CBP Bride, Alysha, as a Bridesmaid. When my bride’s get to see me work, outside of their own wedding, I think it’s an opportunity to see me from all aspects and the love I have for each one of them.
