You could say I stumbled into being Megan and James’ wedding photographer. Megan first asked my best friend, Kensie, to be her wedding photographer and I was originally going to be her second that day then come to find out Kensie was pregnant and actually due within a few weeks of the wedding. We then made the decision I would be the main photographer and I instantly fell in love with Megan from the first text.
Megan is extremely kind hearted, type A personality (which I love about her) and she truly wanted every detail of her wedding to be personal and she did just that. From writing their own vows, to the antique baskets and tins (from her grandmother’s attic) lining the aisle with gorgeous hydrangeas (by the talented Tami McAllister), to the heirloom jewelry that she wore all the way to her wedding ring and hand made veil by Grandma Sue she nailed personal, important, and timeless.
Enjoy a few sneak peek images from their gorgeous overcast October wedding day! Their Ceremony was at Grandview in Lookout Mountain, GA. This venue is spectacular with a large Bridal suite, beautiful patio where these two said “I do!” and beautiful stone surrounding the building. It made for some beautiful portraits!
After the ceremony and family portraits, we took a short walk next door to do their bridal portraits at Rock City which has this gorgeous view of 5 states plus this intense suspended bridge. To say it was breath taking doesn’t even do it justice.
I can’t wait to share more images with you guys! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Hack!
